Subscription Conversion

Objective:

The subscription service is designed to both offer players a way to inexpensively boost their play experience with a simple reoccurring monthly payment as well as provide the business with a reliable base revenue stream. We had a similar service in another product that had provided 35%-40% of the monthly revenue from that product.

After launching, the subscription service was not performing nearly as well as it had for a similar product. Through in-game event metrics and qualitative user testing it was determined that part of the issue was with confusing messaging where we had tried to cover all states
