Visa On-line Torino Winter Olympics

Working closely with our client, Visa, I handled the end-to-end design process including strategy, interaction flow and visual design.


Objective:

  • Create a free to play app for the Visa Olympics promotional website.
  • Tie into the branding for the 2006 Torino Winter Olympics
  • Incorporate Visa’s branding for their promotional materials centering around their Olympics.
  • Core Demographic 15 – 29 year old winter sports fans
  • Low friction interface with casual gaming, light versions of common sports game features.

In conjunction with Visa’s recently launched, “Visa Championships – Torino 2006” online video game and international competition, Lenovo will award all 23 runner-up national winners new ThinkPad Z60m wide-screen notebook PCs. These notebooks offer gamers and media enthusiasts superior sound quality and a variety of multimedia features, and come equipped with fully integrated wireless technology. Lenovo will also work with Visa to design and stage the global championships in Torino, with the final competition taking place on ThinkCentre desktop PCs from Lenovo.
